Yet again we have to cancel because of the weather. This time because there is too much snow. For driving to the hill in anyway. Visibility is bad and road conditions are getting worse. The rooms booked with the Russell Inn through the club will be cancelled, at no cost due to the weather event. We will try to have a Slalom race next Wednesday. See you out at Asessippi this weekend! Due to the unseasonably warm weather, Springhill announced that they would be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Thus the Masters training that was scheduled for Wed Feb 7th has been cancelled. Sunday Jan 28th will be our first group ski of the year out at Holiday Mountain. Meet in the day lodge around 9:30 am. Unfortunately due to the weather, we have decided to cancel the “Ski Like a Master” event for 2024. We look forward to trying again in 2025. While the warm weather and lack of snow has been seen as a blessing by everyone else, those of us who want to hit the slopes have been less than enthusiastic about it.
