Once again the weather isn’t looking good for our scheduled group ski event out at Holiday Mountain. There is no programing for the day, it’s just a chance to recreational ski with friends. Manitoba Master’s Ski club is open to anyone who is already proficient at skiing, but wants to get better. We offer coaching for recreational skiers and hardcore gate bashers. New this year, Junior memberships are available to skiers 14-17 years old. Must be accompanied by a Regular member at all events.

I had hoped to be able to head out to Springhill this Wednesday for one last race. The weather was appearing to cooperate and there was probably going to be enough snow to put in gates. Yet again we have to cancel because of the weather. This time because there is too much snow. For driving to the hill in anyway. Visibility is bad and road conditions are getting worse. So to keep everyone safe, we are cancelling our activities for the night. We’ll try again next Wednesday.

Considering the incoming severe weather, and the affects it will have on driving conditions, we have decided to cancel the Master’s Asessippi weekend this year.
The rooms booked with the Russell Inn through the club will be cancelled, at no cost due to the weather event.
